​We provide a public service by volunteering to instruct at driver training events for car clubs and other non-profit organizations. We also participate in club racing activities, which hones our skills and bolsters our credibility. Club Racing

We race in the BMW CCA Club Racing Series within the South Atlantic Region of the BMW CCA

HPDE Instruction

We instruct at High Performance Drivers’ Education events for BMW CCA as well as other clubs

​High Performance Drivers’ Education (HPDE)

​All three principals of Dunmire Motorsports actively participate in various High Performance Drivers’ Education programs. Serving as volunteer instructors for club events enables non-profit organizations to provide high quality driving events at a reasonable cost, and generate enthusiasm for driving and their marques. While students learn driving mechanics (i.e., how to brake, corner, and accelerate effectively and precisely) on the track, they learn car control (i.e., how to correct for loss of adhesion between your car’s tires and the pavement) at skidpad sessions. Our goal is to produce highly skilled drivers in a safe and effective manner, all while having a great time.

Club Racing

​The philosophy of Club Racing is to offer all BMW CCA licensed club racers a competitive driving experience conducted in a fun, safe, and friendly environment on a reasonably level, class-based playing field for all types of factory authorized or constructed BMWs. The primary emphasis is on clean driving and machinery preservation.

Street Survival Teen Driving School

​The Tire Rack Street Survival® school is a safe teen program designed to go beyond today's required driver's education and give teens across the U.S. the driving tools and hands-on experience to become safer, smarter drivers. Trained and qualified in-car driving instructors as well as classroom experience for each student.
Serving as volunteer instructors for Tire Rack Street Survival enables new drivers to develop the next level of driving skills through planned drills and activities that provide real world skills, all of which make them safer drivers by being better prepared to cope with real world situations for the rest of their lives.
